As a rule, there are no signs of pregnancy in the 1st week. But the body of each woman is unique, so certain sensations and changes in the state are still noted. It can be:
• pulling pain in the lower abdomen (as before menstruation);
• heaviness in the lower abdomen and slight tingling (caused by the flow of incoming blood to the pelvic organs during fertilization of the egg);
• swelling of the breast and soreness of the nipples;
• mood volatility for no particular reason;
• weakness and malaise, similar to the first signs of a cold;
• deterioration of night sleep and early awakenings;
• tingling in the lower back and heaviness in the legs;
• increase in appetite, emergence of addiction to certain products;
• bouts of nausea in the morning (rarely observed at this time);
• frequent urge to urinate;
• bloating and problems with stools (caused by hormonal failure, which also affected the work of the intestines);
• a slight increase in basal temperature in the morning (caused by the active production of progesterone after conception);
• heartburn;
• slight weight loss.
