Physiological changes during pregnancy.

Pregnancy is diagnosed by various physiological, laboratory changes:

• Bloody discharge of a smearing nature comes from the vagina. This is most likely 7-12 days after conception. In this case, the symptom confirms the fixation of the embryo in the uterus.

• The level of hCG is growing. The indicator increases even in the early stages, when conception has occurred recently. HCG is determined by urine tests, as well as laboratory blood tests.

• An early pregnancy factor is also known. A special substance is found in the mucus of the cervix, which is detected already 28 hours after conception.

• Increase in basal body temperature. When conception occurs, the basal temperature necessarily rises.

• Hemorrhoids get worse. The blood flow increases in the pelvic organs, which provokes an exacerbation of hemorrhoids in the very first weeks.

• Increase in body temperature. In some women, a characteristic symptom is a temperature that is constantly elevated to 37 degrees.

• Salivation. The flow of saliva may be accompanied by nausea.

• Increased frequency of urination. Against the background of a general hormonal restructuring of the body, blood flows to the pelvic organs, which is accompanied by stimulation of the kidneys. All these processes lead to an increase in the frequency of urination.

• Thrush. One of the signs of pregnancy is thrush, this is a common occurrence.

Women who are expecting to conceive may well find appropriate signs of pregnancy.

Doctors note that the most characteristic symptom of the onset of pregnancy is still a delay in menstruation.

When menstruation is already delayed by 10-12 days, it is time to conduct tests and consult a doctor.
