As soon as a girl has menarche (first menstrual bleeding), she gains the ability to motherhood and retains it until menopause (the complete cessation of menstrual bleeding).
There are several factors that influence the possibility of pregnancy
The likelihood of pregnancy increases by the time a regular cycle becomes established - usually two years from menarche, and decreases in the late reproductive period - after 35-40 years.
To understand how long it takes for pregnancy to begin after sexual intercourse, you first need to understand the issues of female and male physiology.
Not every sexual intercourse ends in pregnancy, even in young and healthy partners, because in order for the desired conception to take place, many factors must coincide, namely:
• formation of healthy germ cells in both men and women;
• the structure of the genital organs should allow male reproductive cells to freely enter the female body and reach the ovarian ampulla;
• a woman’s fallopian tubes must be passable so that a fertilized egg can travel from the ovary to the uterus without interference;
• the condition of the uterus should allow the egg to implant (sink, attach) into the endometrium in the optimal zone.
If at least one of these points is not met, conception will not occur.
