The importance of vitamins when planning pregnancy.

Today, young couples, due to greater awareness, take pregnancy planning much more seriously than before: they undergo comprehensive examinations, change their diet, enriching their diet with vitamins and nutrients. The latter plays a vital role for the normal development of the unborn child.

Nutrients (and these are not only vitamins, but also amino acids, fatty acids, carbohydrates, minerals, etc.) must enter the body of the expectant mother in sufficient quantities even before pregnancy - this is the key to the full development of the fetus. Due to the lack of these substances at the planning stage and in the early stages of pregnancy, certain complications may arise.

When preparing for pregnancy, a woman is advised to talk separately with her gynecologist about her diet and the necessary vitamins. The doctor should advise the most suitable vitamin complex. Folic acid is especially important both at the planning stage and during pregnancy.
